Alan

Alan was born in Elgin in 1967 and made his debut in the Highland League aged just fifteen. He has gone on to a career spanning more than 25 years.

Alan signed for St. Johnstone in 1995 and stayed with Saints until 2003.

He began his second spell in Perth in 2007, winning the Challenge Cup and last season promotion to the SPL

Alan’s honours include three Scottish Football League championship medals, as well as runners-up medals from the Scottish Cup and the UEFA Cup, having been part of the Dundee United squad that reached the 1987 final. He won the League Cup with Livingston, and has been part of the Scotland national squad representing his country in under-21 and B international fixtures.

In April 2009, Alan overtook Saints legend Drew Rutherford to become the player with the most appearances for Saints, and at 42 is the oldest registered player in the Scottish Premier League!
